GPS, Gunupur is a constituent unit of Gandhi Group of Institutions. The group has proven record of excellence in running two Engineering colleges, one Dental college, one MBA & one MCA college at Gunupur & Bhubaneswar, so to say excellence in KG to PG. Its flagship, Gandhi Institute of Engineering & Technology, Gunupur is a house hold name in India and abroad.

The school embarked on its mission of moulding young minds on the 15th of Feb, 2004.
The School is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Dehi. It is a co-educational school has classes from Kindergarten to Secondary, having residential facilities for both girls & boys from Class 1.
The academic year begins in first week of April and closes in the third week of March every year. The school has a long break for summer (during May to mid June), the dates of which are announced during the respective academic year.
English is the medium of instruction throughout the school.
